Visual feedback for AI coding agents

“the other button.”
Snap. Dictate.
Hand it off.

Walk through your website. Say what needs changing. Point right at it. SnapDictate turns your words and marked screenshots into an ordered review your AI agent can read—and you can keep.

Illustrative example · proposed work, ready to verify

You know exactly what you mean.

Getting it into the chat box?
That’s the job inside the job.

You spot it in a second. The awkward headline. The wrong button. The thing that worked yesterday.

Then comes the ceremony: take a screenshot, paste it, explain where to look. Take another. Explain which one. Add “keep everything else.” Scroll back to see what you forgot.

You came to build something.
You became its full-time explainer.

SnapDictate gives that feedback a home. Talk, draw, capture, keep going. Your words and screenshots stay together in a review you can hand to your agent.

01 / DICTATE

Talk or type naturally.

Say what you want changed, why it matters, and what should stay. Prefer the keyboard? Type it.

02 / SNAP

Make your point visible.

Circle the detail. Draw the arrow. Capture it. The screenshot lands in your timeline, then your narration continues.

03 / HAND OFF

Put it to work.

Export the review and agent package. Your receiving agent gets the context and a proposed checklist to verify against it.

The next chat shouldn’t start from scratch

Keep the “why”
with the “what.”

A fix is only part of the instruction. So is “leave this alone.” Keep your requests, questions, and things to preserve alongside the evidence that explains them.

  • Read the walkthrough: words, screenshot, more words
  • Review the proposed work in an editable brief and checklist
  • Check the sources for details the model may have missed
  • Carry agreed work forward in your project’s document of truth
Your work. Your choice.

Keep the everyday
workflow local.

Reviews save in your Chrome profile. Compatible devices can generate a brief with Chrome’s built-in AI.

Prefer another model? Connect your own OpenRouter key. You choose the model and pay that provider directly. Sending review text to the cloud is your explicit choice.

On-device AI and speech depend on Chrome, hardware, and language support. Chrome speech may process audio online. Review every generated checklist before acting on it.

Made to go into AI

A video says, “Watch this.”
Your package says, “Here’s the work.”

Give your agent readable text, marked images, and a way to check its understanding. Keep the same files for your designer, your next agent, or yourself next Tuesday.

THE CONTEXT

The review, in order.

Your narration, screenshots, and notes in a readable timeline. Export a PDF for people and source files for agents.

THE PROPOSED WORK

A checklist to work through.

Generate an editable brief and proposed action items. When no brief is generated, a source-review checklist still gives the agent a place to start.

THE CONTINUITY

A handoff with a memory.

Included guidance asks the agent to check for omissions and discuss updating your existing project checklist—or creating one with you.

Upload support varies by agent. Unzip the package when needed and provide the Markdown and images. Generated items are proposals to review, not a guarantee that nothing was missed.

A few useful answers.

How do I give a review to my AI agent?

Download the agent package and attach it in a tool that accepts ZIP files, or unzip it and provide the Markdown and screenshots. The included handoff guide asks the agent to read the sources, check for missed details, and reconcile the proposed work with your project’s existing checklist. You approve the scope. SnapDictate does not automatically change your code or connect to your repository.

Do I have to generate an AI brief?

No. Your original review and exports are useful on their own. The optional brief adds a draft overview and proposed actions; source coverage and handoff guidance help the receiving agent verify them.

How do I install it?

The commercial release installs from the Chrome Web Store. Your Welcome Kit includes a setup prompt for your agent. Chrome will still ask you to approve installation and permissions.

Can I replace a computer?

Yes. Open Manage license, sign in by email, and deactivate the old installation to free a slot. Your review files are stored in that Chrome profile—export them before removing it.

Is the checklist guaranteed to include everything?

No. The brief is a draft, and the model can miss details. The package retains original sources and a coverage checklist so you and your receiving agent can check for omissions. Screenshots are not analyzed by the brief generator.

Will it work offline?

An activated installation has a 30-day licensing grace period, with refresh attempted after seven days. Browser speech and optional OpenRouter require a connection. Typed reviews can work offline; local AI requires a supported device and downloaded model.

What does the one-time price include?

SnapDictate 1.x and maintenance updates for that version family. Future major versions may be offered separately. OpenRouter usage is billed separately by OpenRouter.
